1. On the menu bar of Family Tree Maker, click on:
   • File
   • Export

     

2. Select:
   • Individuals to export: entire file
   • Output format: GEDCOM 5.5
   • Click OK

     

3. Choose a file name for the GEDCOM file
   • Note in which folder the file is stored
   • Click save

     

4. Family Tree Maker will show a progress dialog

   

5. And you’re done!
   1. With Map My Family Tree, browse & open the GEDCOM file
