You can publish your 3D Tree as a VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) or X3D file. The VRML and X3D files can be stored on a Website, or emailed as an attachment. Anyone can view the VRML and X3D files by using a free plug-in to their browser.
Click here to view a VRML file with geographic color coding (requires VRML plug-in). Blue = Canadian, green = Scottish, orange = Australian.
Click here to see hemophilia inheritance in the British Royal family. Pink = female carrier, blue = male victim, yellow = possible female carrier.
Here are some popular 3D viewing plug-ins.
