How to export GEDCOM from Family Tree Maker® 2008 or later

1 – On the menu bar of Family Tree Maker, click on:

• File
• Export

2 – Select:

• Individuals to export: entire file
• Output format: GEDCOM 5.5
• Click OK

3 – Choose a file name for the GEDCOM file

• Note in which folder the file is stored
• Click save

4 – Family Tree Maker will show a progress dialog

5 – And you're done!

• With Map My Family Tree, browse & open the GEDCOM file
