I want to trace from 1-generation to another, and there are about 5-6 generations in between the 2-generations.  HOWEVER I only want the lines that connect the two parties....

Let me explain, as this is for an indigenous people, who operated as Tribes or Iwi in my own country.  Cheif Ikanui is a significant figure and 6-generations later, Eru Ihaka was another significant figure.  There are 3-4 direct lines of decent and I WANT only these lines to be represented.

Therefore, is there a report where I can PUT 2-names in, ie. Ikanui & Eru Ihaka AND THE REPORT JUST gives the direct lines between these 2-individuals (and not other unrelated lines/lineage) , and if there are more than 1-lines, all lines will be printed?  Many Thanks

Charting Companion does not offer a Report that enables this option, however, there is a way to display it in a chart.

Tree Pruning
Tree pruning enables you to chose individuals, in an ancestor or descendant view, to emphasize their common lineage by removing all other persons.
For more information inluding pictures, click on Help in the menu bar and select Search for help on...
Enter and select Pruning. The topic will explain this in great detail.
