Lost ability to open any FTM 2012 file.

Lost ability to open any FTM 2012 file.
Charting Companion 3 installed a week ago. Worked fine until update patch by FTM. Since then all FTM files I try to open say they are in use, even though closed. Exported to FTM16 and CC works fine. Will total uninstall / reinstall help? Tried once, but must not have gotten all the files as it did not request authorization code, and still same "file in use" empty DB.

As you said, Family Tree Maker did another upgrade and this has caused a problem with Charting Companion. I will send you the new version as soon as possible. I cannot say for sure when this will be but we are working on it. We are sorry for the delay.

It appears that the CCFTM PDF Printer is not being installed.
Please be sure you are logged on as an Administrator and temporarily disable your anti virus.
Then try re installing using the following link:

If this still does not work, please send me the following:
In the installation directory (typically \Program Files (x86)\Charting Companion for Family Tree Maker\), there should be a small file called install.log. Double click on this to open and then please copy and paste the contents into an email to me.

A new version 3.0.22 of Charting Companion is available which is compatible with Family Tree Maker 21.0.0.529. Download it from:
